Department Of Electronics

About department

The department of Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2002. It is one of the newest departments of the college. The department runs three-year degree course in Electronics science offered by the Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur. The academic programme comprises of extensive theoretical and experimental training course related to basic and application of electronics science. The department has developed with the help of UGC/self financing grants. The department consists of qualified & experienced staff member. The department has well established Basic & advanced Electronics, Digital Electronics, Analog communications, Microprocessor and Instrumentation laboratories.

Library

The college central library has good number of books for Electronics science and engineering. Many reference books, textbooks, magazines are available for students. Apart from central library, The department is also having good collection of books for advance studies and research.

Mission

To provide a superior learning experience with a vision of the future educational needs of society. The primary mission is to offer a high quality undergraduate education that is relevant to the future careers and lives of our students. The department incorporates a personal approach to education that is supportive of students and provides fundamental and applied skills in electronics science. The learning environment, including faculty, staff, and administration, is focused on the evolving needs of students and society. This allows individuals with diverse backgrounds to enter, succeed, and continue the life-long earning process in their chosen careers.

Research

The research activities in Optoelectronics include simulation and modeling of organic light emitting diode. The study of organic optoelectronic devices aims at improving the understanding of the operating principles and processes taking place within organic light emitting diode for display application. Electronic display industry is poised for unprecedented development and growth to provide the crucial links in the exploding IT revolution. In the last decade, the emissive displays based on organic electroluminescence (EL) have generated excitement in academic as well as industrial laboratories around the world. The attractive advantages offered by OLEDs based displays are:
